We all want to try out different hairstyles now and then, but sometimes, there’s not much time left to style your hair, especially if you’ve only slept 4 hours and are in a hurry to go to work the next morning.
But the good news is, you don’t have to leave the house looking like a zombie as there are some really easy hairstyles you can try on stressful days.
In this article, I am going to show you some cute ponytail hairstyles you can easily try at home.
1. High Ponytail
You can easily recreate this ponytail à la Ariana Grande by pulling the top half of your hair into a ponytail at the crown of your head. Cover the elastic by grabbing a small section of your hair from the tail portion. Leave the rest of your hair down to create the illusion of thick hair.
2. Low Ponytail
Zendaya wears these beautiful low ponytails and it’s not without reason that she is called “the queen of hair transformations”. To create this look, create a center part and tie back your hair at the nape of your neck. You can additionally pull out some face-framing strands. Finally, you can also use a curling iron to add some curls to your ponytail.
3. Crazy Ponytail
If you really are in a hurry, you can try the crazy ponytail. You can create this look by grabbing a small section of hair, quickly side braiding it (optional) and tying back your hair without fixing the braid with an elastic. If you want to amp up the volume of your hair, you can gently backcomb your ponytail.
4. Sleek Ponytail
To create this glam pony, comb your hair with a boar bristle brush to direct your hair strands back. Apply some gel from your hairline to the base of your pony to add some extra shine and calm flyaways. When putting your hair into a low pony, wrap a hair strand from under your pony around the elastic band- and voila!
5. Poufed Three-Part Pony
This looks more complicated than it actually is! To create this look, separate your hair into three parts (at the crown, the middle and base of your hair). Then make a ponytail by gathering the top section of your hair and secure it with an elastic band. In order to make it look shiny and polished, wrap a sliver of hair around the elastic band.
Combine the middle section of your hair with the pony above and wrap a piece of hair around the elastic to conceal it. Finally, grab the remaining hair and again, combine it with the pony above by wrapping a piece of hair around your hair tie.
6. Sky-High Pony
Brush your hair up into a tight pony and flat-iron the tail. Finally, wrap a small section of hair from the tail around the base. You can apply some clip extensions to add some volume to your pony.
Although some of these ponytails seem to take too much time to be created, it really isn’t’s that complicated. Once you get used to creating these hairstyles, it will cost you only a few minutes. Go ahead and see for yourself!
